Legion Baseball Volunteer Work Day & Home Schedule
Greetings Fellow Legion members-
Our Post 235 Legion Baseball season is approaching with the first home game (of about 20 in total) scheduled for May 20.
The coaches will be doing some preparation work on May 17 and could really use some volunteer help.
We plan to be at the Butler HS field from 9:30am to 11:30 on Saturday May 17.
The Butler team is done playing so there is some work to be done along these lines:
Cleaning dugouts and surrounding areas. Bringing our supplies in.
Some weeding, edging and wheelbarrowing in some dirt.
Hanging all banners in the outfield (includes new patriotic bunting that has been acquired)
Minor repairs to the safety screens and netting in the batting practice area
Test of electrical set up and freezer.
Nothing very strenuous, but it would all come together nicely if we had some hands on deck.
